Hou-mei Sung, Curator of East Asian Art at the Cincinnati Art Museum (CAM), introduced a group of East Asian art works in the museum collection that few people have the chance to see. Due to the lack of gallery space, these works have never been publicly displayed. The featured works include a selection of Chinese Changsha ware ceramic bowls recovered from a ninth century shipwreck. Some are intact, and others still are encrusted with sea shells. Also highlighted are CAM's collection of Japanese sake bottles, sake cups, and sake cup holders.
