Ikebana: The Art of Japanese Flower Arranging

Teruko Nesbitt, certified teacher of the Sogetsu School of Ikebana, shared the history of Ikebana, including its importance in chabana, the practice of the tea ceremony. You’ll see examples of the characteristics of this unique Japanese art form.  Through her demonstration, you will learn about artistic practices and explore the unlimited possibilities that Ikebana brings to your life. Teruko showed practical techniques and tips so that you can create your own masterpieces.
