Welcome

The Cincinnati Asian Art Society provides a forum for sharing information and ideas about East Asian, Middle Eastern, and South and Southeast Asian art in all media.

The annual programs of the Society include a variety of activities such as

• - Private tours of collections of Asian art in Cincinnati
• - Tours of temporary museum exhibitions led by curators wherever possible
• - Lectures by scholars and curators
• - Occasional trips to museums, galleries, or private collections in the surrounding region

The Society sponsors monthly programs, generally from September through June, featuring the art of China, India, Japan, Korea, Southeast Asia and more.

Many of our programs are free and open to the public. Other programs are for members only. To learn about becoming a member, please see our Join page.

Current officers for 2021-2022 are: Helen Rindsberg, president; Barbara Ramusack, vice-president; Margaret Rhein, secretary; and Nages Shanmugalingam, treasurer.
